Grace for the Season You’re In

Some seasons arrive with more questions than answers. We may hope for clarity, a finished plan, or a sense that everything has settled into place. In the meantime, faith can meet us in the life we have today, not only in the life we imagine once things feel certain.

In Matthew 6:34, Jesus teaches, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” This is not a promise that every difficulty will disappear. It is an invitation to attend to the day before us rather than carrying tomorrow’s concerns all at once.

Prayer can be simple in an unfinished season: a request for help, an honest expression of worry, or a moment of quiet. We can bring what is unresolved to God without pretending to have it all worked out. Grace does not require us to make uncertainty look tidy.

Take a moment to consider what belongs to today, and what you may be trying to solve before its time. What might it look like to trust God with this present season? You might pause and pray: God, meet me here today. Help me receive your grace for this day and place what I cannot settle into your care. Amen.
